Visiting the Costa Azahar is synonymous with beaches and nature, a territory rich in biological and landscape diversity. Choose between a swim on a beach with crystal clear water or an excursion between mountains enjoying hiking trails of special beauty.
On the doorstep of our hotel, 10 meters beyond our door to be precise, you will find the Las Fuentes Beach. This beach is ideal for families with children as it has fine and soft sand. The water here is calm and not very deep, ensuring that the whole family can bath safely.
Down from the hotel’s swimming pools you can walk to the sea promenade turning left. There you will find a 1.5 km walk up to the lighthouse. It is here where the nature reserve La Sierra de Irta begins, whose rambling seaside paths will take you all the way to Peñíscola, via several idyllic coves.
The coast of Castellón is a superb area to take part in a wide variety of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, fishing and scuba diving. The interior of the province also offers a wide range of possibilities for sporting and adventure activities such as rambling, climbing, paragliding, rafting, riding, mountain biking, speleology and orientation.
Castellón has a large network of paths that bring visitors closer to nature leading them to places that can only be accessed by foot. The paths allow the traveller to enjoy walking at the same time as passing by awe-inspiring places, where forests, Mediterranean landscapes and rough mountains come together in their splendour. But don’t worry, you will always find pure sources of fresh water where to satisfy your thirst along the way!
