The Sanctuary of Santa Lucia is located about 5 km from the centre of the village. This sanctuary is 312 metres above sea level and was built at the turn of the 17th century. Its Valencian baroque style is highlighted by the backdrop of the Columbretes Islands, the Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca, the Las Palmas Desert and Torrenostra.
Alcala de Chivert is 8km away. Of particular note is the impressive St John the Baptist Church, the parish museum and the belfry (one of the highest in the province of Valencia), built in the 18th century.
From Alcala de Chivert you can follow the road up to the ruins of the Alcala de Chivert Castle, which was built in Sierra de Irta in the 12th century. This castle originally belonged to the Moors, but was later occupied by the Templars. It is believed that the Moors signed the letter of surrender here in 1234. In the 17th century, after the expulsion of the Moors, the site was abandoned. It is currently undergoing restoration.
On the way to the castle, you pass the Sanctuary of Calvario, another example of the Valencian baroque style. Outside there is area with benches and tables shaded by pines, ideal for picnics. Also there is a viewpoint overlooking the Sierra de Irta and Xivert Castle.
